ImportOS Data is a public REST API and MCP server for developers and AI agents: turnkey landed cost, market price, VIN decoding, normalized listing search, customs rules and FX rates. One API key works for both REST and MCP.

Principles
- An estimate, not an offer. Amounts are estimates. Rates without official confirmation carry
verified: falsein the response and a warning (warnings); show them to the user. - Honest empty answers. If there is no data, the API returns
nullandsample_size: 0, not zero. - Source failures do not fail the request. A blocked or broken source ends up in
errors[]of the search response. - Stable errors. All errors are
application/problem+jsonwith a stablecodefield.
