Scout sources
The full list of listing sources Scout searches, with their verification status. Generated from the registry.
Scout collects listings from dozens of sources (EU, Ukraine, US) and normalizes them into one schema. The same search is available through GET /v1/listings/search and the MCP tool search_listings.
The table is generated from code
It is taken from the registry packages/sources/sources.yaml and the adapters (loadRegistry) at build
time. A test checks that the committed version matches the registry.
How to read the status
- Verified on the real site (
verified): the adapter's fixtures were captured from a live page. - Not verified (written from docs): the site blocked us during development, and the adapter was written from a description of the markup. It may not work until verified against a live page. Nothing is invented: a search simply reports an error for that source.
- Planned: there is a registry entry, no adapter yet.
Collection principles
- We respect
robots.txt, site terms and request limits (each source has its own rpm). - We do not bypass CAPTCHA, login, 403, 429 and geo-blocks. A blocked source is marked
blockedwith a reason and does not fail the search: in the API response it ends up inerrors[]withblocked_reason. - Sources whose
robots.txtdisallows access are not queried at all: their data arrive only through the broker's extension (their own session) or a licensed partner API. - Copart and IAAI data are not scraped on the server: the Margin extension reads them from the page you opened.

The registry has 71 sources, 47 enabled, 58 with an adapter. Fixtures captured from the real site (verified): 36; adapter written from documentation and NOT verified: 22; planned only: 13.
